TERMS AND CONDITIONS — I CARE AND CLEAN

1. Company Information

I Care and Clean (“the Company”) is a professional cleaning services provider operating across Wales and the United Kingdom. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website icareandclean.co.uk and the provision of domestic, commercial and institutional cleaning services.

By booking any service or using the website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

 

2. Acceptance of Terms

Acceptance occurs when:

  • booking a service

  • using the website

  • permitting access to the premises

  • confirming a service agreement verbally or in writing

Clients must read and understand these Terms before booking.

 

3. Scope of Services

The Company provides domestic, commercial, institutional and specialised cleaning services. Each service includes:

  • service description

  • frequency

  • areas included

  • any additional extras

  • agreed price

Any work not included in the initial agreement is considered an extra service and may incur additional charges. All extras must be confirmed in writing.

 

4. Access to the Premises and Working Conditions

Clients must ensure:

  • access to the property at the scheduled date and time

  • safe working conditions

  • availability of electricity and water

  • disclosure of alarms, keys, codes and restricted areas

  • safe environment regarding pets, hazards and sensitive areas

Failure to provide access counts as a late cancellation and may incur a fee.

 

5. Health, Safety and Chemical Use (COSHH)

The Company complies fully with:

  • Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974

  • COSHH Regulations 2002

All cleaning products used are safe and suitable for professional use. Clients must inform the Company of:

  • allergies

  • sensitivities

  • chemical restrictions

If conditions are unsafe, the Company may refuse or suspend the service.

If the client provides cleaning products, they are used at the client’s responsibility.

 

6. Prices, Payments and Invoicing

Prices are communicated before service delivery. Payments may be made via:

  • bank transfer

  • card payment

  • online payment

  • other agreed methods

Invoices must be paid within the stated terms. Late payments may incur fees permitted under UK law (Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act).

Recurring payment plans may be established for regular services.

 

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Domestic Clients (Consumer Rights Act 2015)

Clients may cancel or reschedule with minimum 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations may incur a fee of up to 100% of the service value.

Business Clients (B2B)

Cancellation terms follow the commercial contract. Cancellations without prior notice may result in full service charges.

Failure to provide access counts as a cancellation.

 

8. Service Guarantee and Complaints

The Company guarantees the quality of its services. If the client is not satisfied, they must report the issue within 24 hours.

Where applicable, the Company will:

  • review the issue

  • correct the service

  • re-clean the affected area

Complaints after 24 hours may not be eligible for re-cleaning.

 

9. Damage, Liability and Insurance

The Company holds appropriate public liability insurance.

The Company is not responsible for:

  • pre‑existing damage

  • natural wear and tear

  • fragile items not disclosed

  • items not securely installed

  • damage resulting from incorrect client instructions

Liability is limited to the value permitted under UK law.

Clients must report any damage within 24 hours.

 

10. Security, Keys and Alarms

If keys or access codes are provided:

  • they are stored securely

  • used only for scheduled services

  • returned upon request

The Company is not responsible for:

  • faulty alarm systems

  • incorrect codes

  • defective locks

 

11. Subcontracting and Staff

The Company may use vetted subcontractors or employees to deliver services. All personnel comply with:

  • confidentiality

  • safety standards

  • professional conduct

  • insurance requirements
